So you think you want to work in a casino? CCAC is pleased to offer casino dealer training classes through a partnership with Rivers Casino. By completing our training course, you can obtain the skills you need to join the exciting casino gaming industry.

Since opening in February 2016, CCAC's Casino Dealer School has been training casino employees as well as those seeking employment in the casino industry. Together, CCAC and Rivers Casino have created a strong partnership to provide casino training in a variety of table games. The school is approved by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board and is recognized by all casinos in the state as well as some out-of-state casinos. Students in the entry-level course receive 120 hours of training in blackjack and banked games, including several poker derivative games. Individuals who successfully complete the course are eligible to work as a dealer. In addition, students are auditioned as part of the curriculum, which boosts their chances of securing a position.

Approved recipients will have their tuition paid in full to attend the dealer school training Students that successfully complete dealer school training and pass the game audition process will be offered a part-time Table Games Dealer position with Rivers Casino. 12-Week Beverage Management Course

Crescent is unique in offering a 12-week Beverage Management course that's designed to help you move into a Head Bartender or Beverage Manager position. This class is the only one of its kind in the nation, along with its impressive hands-on bartending/mixology training, you will also learn a wide range of management skills along with intensive product knowledge training. Crescent's Casino Dealer Training programs provide up-to-the-minute, relevant instruction on all the latest gaming trends and techniques. What you learn is based on the primary skills employers want to see in the dealers they hire AND what players like to see in the dealers they interact with and tip on the casino floor.

With our “hands on” teaching methods, Crescent School graduates learn a complete understanding of the gaming business. In addition, they will be thoroughly conversant with the rules, techniques, systems, procedures, equipment, and theory in their choice of one (or all) of the following casino games: Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Mini-Baccarat/Carnival Games, and Craps. The student’s skills and abilities will be developed to a point that qualifies them for employment, at an entry level position (or higher) in the exciting casino industry.

Choose One of Our Casino Dealer Programs

► 350-hour Two-Game Dealing Program (Choose to be trained in two of the following games): Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Mini-Baccarat/Carnival Games, or Craps.

► 750-hour Comprehensive Dealing Program: With this option, you'll be trained in all of the most popular games available at casinos and on cruise ships worldwide, including, Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Mini-Baccarat/Carnival Games, and Craps.

Financial Aid

Crescent is one of the only bartending and casino gaming schools in the U,S. to be approved to accept U.S. Financial Aid.

Applying for financial aid is a simple process. It will all be worth it to start a new career as a bartender or casino dealer. Just contact the Admissions Representative at the Crescent campus you want to attend (see below), and we can walk you through the process and answer all your questions about how to pay for your tuition.

Job Placement

At our Las Vegas East locatoin, Crescent has a Placement Director that works one-on-one with each gaming and mixology student to help them find a job before they graduate. Our placement staff will assist you in arranging auditions and job interviews, Many times, they call ahead to personally speak with the hiring manager about your extensive training and to highlight your many talents.
